Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Right? Every phenomenon has a similar things happening--like matter and anti-matter; light and dark. There's always an equal and opposite reaction...of sorts.
So the same applies to people. God will have a Devil and Christ will have an anti-Christ. So hence there are people like that for every normal person too!
The cool thing is how it applies. The chances are the anti-you is either:
A) a friend [maybe a best friend!]
B) a crush or even your significant other
C) the person that makes you really want to throw up
And that is the beauty of things. The person that is the least like you makes you think in equally intense extremes.
And then there is the added plus of being a believer in the Goodman-ism. When you're applying the Sun Signs philosophies to the people's theories there's more than ever to deal with!
People believe that there's nothing like 12 categories to define all people. But believe you me, there is!
The ease with which you can make friends if you can predict what the people you meet might be like, there is more chance of that friendship surviving. And don't get me wrong. I am not talking about presuming anything about anyone. All i'm saying is that, armed with the right knowledge, you can make yourself a whole lot more comfortable and not as nervous as if you had nothing on the person whatsoever!
Given the fact that college is all about friendships and people and the making of some solid, new bonds, this is some advice that i think is going to be good to follow. There's a whole bunch of people out there that make you feel like shit for using Goodman as a legit reference to a lot of your theories, but thenyou will see that she's right 9 and a half times out of 10 and you can count on some real gyaan and reassurance while you're buried in the pages of Sun Signs.
The thing with this person-anti-person theory is that a lot of times the Sun Sign is what makes all the difference!
Other times it's the tendencies! Like there are people that i know that are definitely not of the part-photo-facebook sort...but their bets friends are people that love the camera and the posing and the facebooking of the said pictures!
There are conservative little girls that find best buds in the fiery ones that love to make a statement; fashion, morals or otherwise!
It's a mad, mad world! All you need to survive are Sun Signs and your little pocket books of Antonyms and Opposites!
